La Sierra Metrolink Parking Lot Expansion
    • La Sierra ML public notice maps

WHAT IS PROPOSED
The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) proposes to expand the existing parking lot at the La Sierra Metrolink Station in the City of Riverside. The proposed project would add about 513 additional parking spaces, six (6) bus bays, a signalized access/driveway onto Indiana Avenue, a small storage building, and a restroom facility. The expansion would occur on the adjacent 4.69 acre vacant lot, northeasterly of the existing La Sierra Metrolink Station, between State Route 91 and Indiana Avenue. The vacant lot is already owned by RCTC.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE AND WHERE
RCTC has studied the effects the proposed project may have on the environment. The studies show the proposed project will not significantly affect the quality of the environment. The report that explains this is called an Initial Study (IS). The IS and the Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) are available for review at the following location:
